Terms of Service

Effective October 26, 2026. ConversationQA is operated by ALEX SMART TECH LLC ("we", "us"). By using ConversationQA, you agree to these terms.

The service

ConversationQA scores business conversation transcripts against scorecards and presents the scores with quoted evidence, coaching recommendations, and example improved responses. The service is free for everyone. Accounts are created and accessed through email sign-in links; you are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity under your account.

Your conversations and your responsibilities

You keep ownership of the transcripts you submit. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the service. You must only submit conversations you have the right and permission to analyze — you confirm this on every submission — and you are responsible for removing or protecting sensitive information as your own policies and applicable law require.

Acceptable use

Do not use ConversationQA unlawfully; to access, or attempt to access, another organization's data; to disrupt or overload the service; or to submit content you have no right to process. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

About the scores

Scores, findings, and recommendations are produced by an automated, rule-based evaluation engine. They are informational quality-assurance aids only: they can miss context, they are not legal, medical, or compliance advice, and they do not guarantee any business outcome. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on them.

Optional support payments

ConversationQA is free, with no subscriptions or paid tiers. If you choose to support the service, payments are processed by Square and go to ALEX SMART TECH LLC toward hosting and maintenance. Support payments are voluntary: they are not purchases, they unlock nothing, and they are not tax-deductible.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and the service may be unavailable from time to time. Features described as planned or "on the roadmap" are not part of the current service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALEX SMART TECH LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to USD $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
